Frederick Fiesseler, DO, FACOEP, completed his Emergency Medicine training at Morristown Memorial Hospital in 2001. During his senior year of residency Dr. Fiesseler was chief resident and voted "resident of the year" for the New Jersey chapter of the American College of Emergency Medicine. Since his graduation, he has remained as full time faculty at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has fellow status in the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is also board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. Recently he received the academic appointment of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School, for his work with both medical students and residents. He is the Advanced Cardiac Life Support director for Atlantic Health Systems (3 hospital system). He is the lead author of multiple journal articles and has presented on both the local and national level on topics including ankle injuries, migraine headaches, patient satisfaction and hyperbaric medicine.
