Marilyn Althoff, MD, FACEP, graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1986. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1989. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has fellow status in the American College of Emergency Physicians. She completed a fellowship in Hyperbaric Medicine in 1990 and is the only Hyperbaric fellowship trained physician in New Jersey. She is board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. She has been a member of the faculty of the department of Emergency Medicine since 1990 and is directly involved in resident education. She has been the director of the hyperbaric unit since it opened in 2000.
