Michael E. Silverman, MD, FACP, FACEP, is board certified in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Silverman has practiced at Morristown Memorial Hospital since 1999 and he has been with Atlantic Hyperbaric Associates since 2001. Dr. Silverman holds an appointment of clinical assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of the New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Silverman also is the Medical Student Director at Morristown Memorial Hospital for Department of Emergency Medicine. He currently is the co-chair of the Emergency Preparedness Committee for Morristown Memorial Hospital, as well as a volunteer Staff Medical Officer for New Jersey Disaster Medical Assistance Team. Dr. Silverman was named Clinical Instructor of the Year for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Morristown Memorial Hospital from 2002-2003. In addition he currently is a Board Member of NJACEP.
